Eugene Henderson, known to those who loved him as Geno, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Long Beach, CA Geno spent his life in the Golden State and ultimately made his home in Riverside with his beloved wife, Lisa.

Geno was known for his steady kindness, quiet strength, and genuine care for others. He approached people and situations with patience and grace, consistently choosing compassion and calm even in difficult moments. His faith shaped the way he lived – through gentleness, integrity, and a deep respect for those around him.

Geno spent his working years driving an 18-wheeler and operating cranes – work he approached with dedication and pride. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, playing softball and tending his garden alongside Lisa. He took great joy in caring for his yard and fruit trees, finding satisfaction in things that were thoughtfully grown and well maintained.

Family was at the center of Geno’s life. He deeply loved his children and took great pride in his role as a husband, father and grandfather. Sincere and grounded, Geno had a way of making people feel seen and valued, both at home and in the community he was part of.

Geno is pre-deceased by his parents Eugene and Charlotte Henderson. He leaves behind the love of his life Lisa Henderson, three sons Robert (Whitney) Henderson, Kenneth (Ruby) Henderson and Jacob (Amy) Henderson. He was also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Kaitlynne, Jax, Emery, Wyatt, Riley, Bryson, McKenzie and Angel. Geno has four siblings he leaves behind Suzanne Picconie, Michele Goss, Alexandria Letson & Andrew Henderson. He will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a memorial in Geno’s honour, January 31 st , 2026 at 11am, at the Henderson home. Food and drinks will be provided. Dress is casual. If you plan to attend please RSVP with Lisa at (562) 400-1113.
