Michael Roy Reuss, 77, of Anderson, California, passed away on March 15, 2026. He was born on February 20, 1949, in Glendale, California, and lived a full, hands-on life shaped by curiosity, hard work, and a deep love for his family.

Michael was known for his fun, caring, and outgoing nature. He met life with energy and a sense of humor, always ready to talk, build, or head out on his next adventure. He had a lifelong curiosity about the world and was a big Bigfoot believer. In his younger years, he loved football, baseball, surfing, and riding dirt bikes or traveling to Baja. He was proud to have contributed to the mechanical fabrication of the Dynafoil watercraft in the 1970s.

He was both musically inclined and mechanically gifted, a combination that showed up throughout his life. Michael worked in the elevator industry, as a bike mechanic, and later as a pool and spa technician. In 2008, he started his own pool and spa repair business, which he ran until 2021. He valued independence and took pride in his work, building a life through consistency and effort.

His family and his faith were at the center of everything. Michael was a devoted Christian husband and father who cared deeply for those closest to him. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Reuss; his children, Hollie Powers, Zach Reuss, and Daniel Reuss; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Marcus, Shelby, Deegan, and Ranger. He is also survived by his brother, William Reuss III. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Reuss Jr. and Olive Reuss.

Michael will be remembered for how he lived day to day. Steady, capable, and engaged. He built things with his hands, shared stories with those around him, and stayed connected to the people he loved.
