Lilyann Jadine Lambert-Chaidez

Lilyann Jadine Lambert-Chaidez, lovingly known as “Lily Bug”, "Lily Flower" and “Baby Girl,” passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 12. Born on June 5, 2013, in Redding, California, Lilyann brought energy, laughter, and brightness into every room she entered.
Lily was fearless in the way she moved through life. She loved trying new things and carried a confidence and spark that made people gravitate toward her. Whether riding her skateboard, playing volleyball, shopping with her mom, swimming at the lake with one of her favorite dogs Harper, heading to dance class, or enjoying her favorite Takis, she lived life fully and with excitement. She especially loved performing in her dance recitals and being on stage, where her personality could truly shine.
She attended the same school from preschool through seventh grade and was deeply loved by both classmates and school staff. Lily had a strong presence and a memorable sense of humor. Her family lovingly described her as “a lil annoying,” always joking and keeping people on their toes in the way only someone deeply loved can do.
Lily was baptized Catholic and was raised in the Christian faith. Since she was a baby, she attended Faith Assembly Church and also enjoyed attending Pathway Church. She was cherished by many family members, friends, teachers, and loved ones whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.
She leaves behind her mother and best friend, Lisa Lambert; her father and best friend Chris Chaidez; her grandmother, Konnie Lambert; her grandfather, Michael Lambert; her aunt, Shelley Bell; her uncle, Jeff Lambert; her cousins, Tyler, Eiliyah, Liam, and Joseph; as well as many close friends and extended family members who loved her deeply.
Her family will always cherish the memories they shared with her, especially her bright smile, laughter, and spunky personality that made her unforgettable. One message shared in her memory reads:
“If lilies grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my daughter’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.”
Her family also shares these words from the heart: “Love you to the moon and back, eternity forever.” While Lily’s loved ones continue to carry the weight of her absence here on earth, they hold close the hope that one day they will see her again in Heaven.
Lily will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
