Lee Churulich (“Farmer”)
Lee Churulich was born on August 10, 1950, in Detroit Michigan, and passed into the presence of his Lord on September 24, 2025.
His life was rooted in faith, service, and stewardship. On his 5-acre certified organic farm, Lee applied sustainable practices - not for show, but out of care for soil, community, and God’s creation. At an early young age, Lee showed interest in organic farming that offered him both creativity and discipline, which he brought into his daily work. Lee was passionate about farming healthy organic food and he lived a healthy lifestyle.
Lee’s vocation extended beyond the fields. As a certified domestic violence and crisis intervention worker, he stood with those in fragility, offering practical care and spiritual encouragement in Redding,CA. He was the program manager of a drug and rehab facility. He also work as a CNA in the medical field striving always to preserve dignity and comfort for each of the residents. He retired as a Water Department Technician at the Bella Vista Water District after 25 years of service.
Lee and his wife have been members of Grace Baptist Church where his faith was more than a creed-it was the lens through which he lived.
He found delight in reading, writing, playing chess, and watching films. He treasured moments with his wife, Vicky, especially cooking side by side and caring for others - passions they both carried into their daily lives.
Music held a special place in Lee’s heart: worship, dance, or a gentle love song all spoke to the depths of his spirit.
Lee is survived by his wife of 24 years, Vicky, and his children: Serene, Keith, Glen, Warren, Ellen, Walter, Aaron, and Reese and his younger sister Linda from Arizona. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, with another on the way, and one great grandson. His legacy lives not just through them, but through every life he touched - through acts of compassion, faith shared, and service offered.
