Todd Boyer

Todd Boyer, 58, of Redding, California, passed away on September 2, 2026. Born in Redding on October 18, 1967, Todd lived with warmth, humor, compassion, and a joyful faith that was deeply important to him.

Todd had a gift for seeing beauty and purpose in old, timeless things. He treasured vintage pieces and recognized value in what others might overlook. That same generous attention shaped the way he saw and cared for the people around him.

Throughout his life, Todd worked as a commercial fisherman aboard the Northwestern in Alaska and as a commercial truck driver. But the role he embraced most wholeheartedly was that of full-time grandpa. His children and grandchildren were among the greatest joys of his life.

Todd’s own journey through addiction and healing became part of the way he served others. After finding recovery through the Good News Rescue Mission’s New Life Recovery Program, he became an advocate for the organization and continued volunteering for many years. His Christian faith remained central to his life and to the hope he shared with others.

If you knew Todd, there were a few things you could almost always count on: coffee in his hand, a cowboy hat on his head, dressed to impress, and ready to talk about the San Francisco 49ers. These simple, unmistakably Todd things will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who loved him.

Todd is survived by his daughters, Amanda, Kaitlyn, and Elvie; his grandchildren, Nolan, Aidyn, Jaxyn, Madelyn, Sandra Eloise, Aubrie, Bentlee, Olive, and Luca; and his sibling, James Ronzone.

Todd will be remembered as warm-hearted, funny, caring, faithful, and full of life. His joy was infectious, and his love for his family was unmistakable.
