Marcia Ann Moore

Marcia Ann Moore, 68, of Shasta County, California, passed away on May 26, 2026. Born on January 29, 1958, in Vallejo, California, Marcia lived a life centered on faith, love, and caring for others. She had a warm heart, an easy sense of humor, and a way of making people feel seen and welcomed.

Marcia was known for being friendly, loving, and deeply prayer-centered. She was the kind of person who naturally cared for those around her, earning the love and trust of many who saw her as a second mom. Whether offering encouragement, listening without judgment, or praying with someone in need, she made people feel supported and never alone.

Her greatest calling was caring for others. As both a mother and caregiver, she gave generously of her time and heart. Her faith was not something she kept to herself. Through the Music Meets Heaven online community, she connected with people around the world, sharing conversations, offering prayer, and reminding others that they were loved.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Mitchel. She is survived by her children, Sarah Moore, Mary Moore, Joey Moore, and Joshua Moore; her son-in-law, Max Ali-Zelaya; and her beloved grandchildren, Ezequiel Martinez III, Ivan Martinez, Isabella Ali-Zelaya, Joshua Moore Jr., and Noah Moore.

Marcia will be remembered for the kindness she shared so freely, the faith that guided her life, and the quiet way she cared for everyone who crossed her path. Her love continues to live on in the family, friends, and countless lives she touched.
